We offer year round checks

We all lead busy lives now more than ever and we rely on our vehicles alot more aswell, so it is very important that we maintain them with the basics and essential servicing to ensure they last and keep up with our busy lives. We here at Hyde Road Tyres & Wheels offer various packages aswell as free checks so you can leave the messy business and fussing to us. Year round checks should be done, in the winter the oil water and anti-freeze and air pressure should be maintained at the right levels so your vehicles don’t leave you standing in the cold or at the road side aswell as on long journeys and in the warm months to ensure they don’t over heat or run low.

What checks are needed ?

Some of the checks we offer and you can ask us include:

• Handbrake for operation and travel
• Operation of exterior lights
• Check horn
• Seat belts
• ABS warning lights for correct operation
• Heater plug indicator (Diesel)
• Top up battery if applicable and check battery security
• Check and top up brake and clutch fluid
• Check windscreen wipers
• Check windscreen washer operations and top up level
• Power steering fluid level
• Check coolant and antifreeze strength and top up level
• Check the condition and tension of fan / alternator belt
• Check condition and tension of auxiliary drive belts (excluding timing/cam belt)
• Basic servicing (including changing filters, fluids and spark plugs)

Discounts for our service personnel

Our forces including our Fire Services, ambulance & medical personnel, Armed forces and the police don’t usually get all the credit they deserve and so we would like to do our bit to support them and show our appreciation by offering 10% discounts with valid I.D. We also support many charity expeditions and events, so if you are from any of our essential services then please come in and speak to us so we can see how we can help, and support your on going work that is needed but something that everyone may not be aware of.
